Your choices may lower the cost of your surgery.

Generally, when spine surgery is performed, there are three location options.

One factor to consider in these options are the costs for which you, as the patient, will ultimately be responsible:

  • A provider that performs surgery in a hospital setting
  • A provider that performs surgery at an ambulatory surgery center, which is affiliated with, or connected to, a hospital
  • A provider, like BioSpine Institute, that uses a stand-alone ambulatory surgery center

These three options utilize very different reimbursement schedules. A hospital reimbursement schedule incurs the highest costs of these three, while a stand-alone ambulatory surgery offers the lowest costs.

Since patient financial responsibility is calculated relative to reimbursement schedules, this means that BioSpine, as a provider using a stand-alone ambulatory surgery center, is your least expensive option.

We are your best option.
