[DOWNBEAT MUSIC] BioSpine Institute is focused on patient care and the latest technology of minimally invasive spine surgery. So the nice thing about BioSpine is that it's an outpatient ambulatory surgical center. We only do minimally invasive spine surgery. At hospitals, you can have all different types of surgeries. At a surgery center, you come in it's all very efficient. We fix what's wrong with you. We recover you. You're happy. You go home the same day. And the beauty of this center is it encompasses total patient care. And we are able to perform all the surgeries we had been performing for years and controlling everything under one roof. Minimally invasive surgery is-- it's a way for the surgeon to take care of the pathology that you typically see in the spine and fixing it without disrupting all the soft tissues and fragile structures around the spine. It means a smaller incision. It means less bleeding, less tissue destruction, faster recovery, and outpatient surgery. For the patient, it's a quicker surgery, a lot less complications, a lot quicker recovery, and a lot less post-op pain, and the patients do much better with it. I enjoy going to the clinic after surgery. I know these patients can be very happy. I know what back pain does to people. It destroys their life. So I think that one of the most rewarding things about what we do is seeing the patient after they're recovered from their surgery. They're happy they got their life back. They can be active again. They function. They don't have that pain. You can see it on their face. They come into the office and the pain is gone from their face. When I see new patients that I know that I can fix, I always tell them, you're going to love me. Recently, we've been nationally recognized by Consumer Reports and Healthgrades for our outstanding results for minimally invasive spine surgery. Over the last 12 months, we crossed the threshold of treating over 30,000 patients and performing 13,000 minimally invasive spine surgeries. [DOWNBEAT MUSIC]
